Crafty rafts

Over the week, different children built a series of rafts from wood which they selected, cut to size, some split and then used square lashing to secure their designs. They then added sails, wove a deck and then added other things to them. We had boats that ranged from pirate ships adorned with cannons to duck nesting rafts with snacks to entice the ducks aboard!
